professional statement
Learners first.
If I had to distill my philosophy of instructional design and technology down to two words those would be it. Learners must be kept in mind no matter the learning environment, whether it is synchronous or asynchronous, online or face-to-face. Given my experiences as a classroom teacher and as a master’s student, I know learners have to be at the forefront of most if not all of our decisions as instructional designers. My professional statement further illustrates my background and beliefs as well as how I plan to continue to develop myself as an instructional design and technology professional.
